LSS SYNERGY Sdn Bhd coates its studbolts and nuts with LSS™ system.
A Fluropolymer coating with a selection of under coat that makes our studbolts exellent in make-up/break-out torque characteristics and are used in salt atmosphere as well as for chemical resistance.
LSS™ is used extensively at petro-chemical
facilities, drilling sites, off-shore and at processing plants. The coating protects threaded fasteners, equipment and hardware from the effects of subsea and splash zone exposure and corrosives associated with processing petrochemical products. Installation and removal of componenets is simplified because of reduced “make-up” and “break-out” torque.
1. Durability – LSS SYNERGY’s LSS™ is both a self lubricating and non-wetting coating, field proven for durability and corrosion resistance.
2. Corrosion Resistance – fasteners coated with LSS™ were found to be functional after 4,000 hours in a 5% salt fog( at 90F )in laboratory salt spray exposure tests. (Refer to certificates for test results)
3. Quality – a strictly controlled quality assuarance program ensures that all products conform to quality standards. This includes ASTM, ASME, SAE, ANSI, NACE and in-house SPC, or any individual customer specification.
4. Chemical and Solvent Resistant- the excellent chemical and solvent resistance of LSS™ fasteners is demonstrated by their outstanding performance in a variety of harsh environments as indicated in the chart below:
